Ash Fork, middle school students, participated in many outdoor activities during the second quarter. In October, students had team-building near Dog Town Lake in Williams. Students played capture the flag in the forest and completed a mile-long adventure race to Dog Town Lake with their teams. After lunch, students also tried to create fires and roasted marshmallows. In addition to team building, five Ash Fork students hiked out to Plateau Point in the Grand Canyon as a part of their PE class in November.
