Our Canoe Sponsors

The Ash Fork Middle School project is a three-day canoe trip. This trip gives many of our rural students their first experience with outdoor recreation and camping. The Ash Fork Middle School project started in 2016 with the idea of reinforcing the team building and leadership skills learned throughout the year, combined with the end-of-year 8th-grade trip celebrating the next step in our students’ academic careers. 

Each year the canoe trip creates irreplaceable memories. With no access to the outside world, students refine their teamwork while learning how to paddle a canoe together, form deeper friendships, understand the value of empathy, and gain a better appreciation of the outdoors.
