I want to take the time to thank all of my fabulous first grade families for their hard work and stellar efforts to help their children during this school year, especially this last quarter. I have been so appreciative of your efforts at home! I wish I could have spent the last quarter teaching in our room at school, but you stepped it up and filled in for me when I couldn’t be present in person. I really enjoyed the phone calls, texts, voice messages and letters from each of you! Each warmed my heart and made things feel a little more normal.
I am going to miss not seeing each of you off on the last day of school and sending you on to 2nd grade with a fist bump, handshake or hug. I want you to have a fantastic summer! Please remember that Lexia, IXL and Epic are still available all summer to work on.
