Heritage Zoo Field Trip
This week Kinder, First and 2nd grade students took a trip to zoo in Prescott. It is a small zoo, however, provides opportunities to for us to get a close look at native and nonnative species of Arizona.
As second graders we get a chance to talk about animal categories. We looked at physical characteristics, animal senses and ways they move that help them survive. Also, we take a look at how the animal categories differ. We saw reptiles, mammals, birds and insects during our visit.
