The Middle School Girls basketball came to an end December 8th and 9th. A Team came home with 1st place beating Chino Valley. It was a solid, impressive win where each person contributed. Led by 8th graders Isabella Acosta, Melissa Coronado Acosta, Taylor Diaz, Lilliana Mueller, Lucero Ayala and Jocelyn Keele. Throughout the season they were supported by Karen Tellez, Katia Trujillo, Allie Gochenour and Jayleen Ochoa.
The B team played in the first round against Parks and would have advanced with a few more sunk buckets. However, they played great defense and developed in their understanding in and skills of basketball throughout the season. Players included Karen Tellez, Katia Trujillo, Audrina Cays, Allie Gochenour, Jayleen Ochoa, Danna Rubio Valdez, Arileigh Walema, Yaretzi Solorio Martinez, and Layla Anaya Morales.
