Ash Fork Middle School cross-country has started. We have fourteen students out for cross-country. Our team includes four 8th-grade students (Isabella, Allie, Bear, Treighton), six 7th-grade students (Karen, Carl, Brody, Uriel, Fernando, Paxton), two 6th-grade students (Carlos, Lilly), and two 5th-grade students (Arileigh, Wyatt)
Our team has had a great season. So far, the following competitors have placed in cross-country events: Isabella and Bear. Isabella has placed 3rd and 2nd, and Bear placed 5th in his first event. Our first-timers, Arileigh, Wyatt, Carlos, Lilly, and Brody, are vastly improving their running abilities, and I expect to see more placements soon. Our team is looking forward to competing and finishing the rest of this season strong. We have three more regular events in September; our last event is regionals and will be on October 28, 2023.
